your little eyeees are going to seeeee...I can't disguise the beauty inside meeeee...
-Little Soul, Depeche Mode.
hello, and welcome to Inexpressible. A personal blog + sketch journal, entwined in a double helix of nostalgia and introspection. Thusly it can and often does contain personal thingies, ideas and blurbs that might offend or delight you. Either way, I chock it up to this here quote from Bruce Lee that I like:
I'm not here to live up to your expectations, and you're not here to live up to mine.
the recipe for this is: 50% personal sketch-journal: sometimes, well this is simply by me and for me. Considering how anti-social platforms have become the new recruitment centers for future socialists & communists, I abandoned that ship. The passengers were all duped and addicted to misinformation. 50% personal blog: mostly writings from my own perspective.
some stuff about myself
I don't need this blog to flatter you, to teach you things, to dazzle you with my highly stylized preferences. However once in a while, you might just learn a thing or three. If that happens it's unintentional, unavoidable, and well, consider it a gift that keeps on giving.
This is spike
I'm a guy you might just scarcely notice, on the street or in some wayward indie cafe. Or I might just be invisible, the kind of invisible that's tragically beautiful. However I'm to be interpreted/misinterpreted doesn't matter, people do it all the time.
I've been accused of being rather sexy, and sometimes cute. That's because I'm an ex Walgreens website model. I suppose I have that Walgreens look nailed. It's always important to be semi-attractive when you're an international super spy, enhanced human, and then there's me being a humble poet from sweet and sour home Chicago too. Most poets tend to be ugly that's why some of us intentionally wear masks or menstruate on Instagram 'just because' (like rupi kaur). My mortal enemies are Millenial snowflake instapoets btw in case I was being in danger of being way too subtle.
Personality
Down to earth, minimalistic, creative, intellectual, funky, funny, 15% weird, observant and goofy for a serious city cat that I am (heavy influence from my dad). A propensity for deep investigations, mysteries, survivalist hacks, and petty larceny vs. criminals. Even though I'm quite agile I tend to be randomly clumsy at times (especially when spontaneous hilarity ensues as a result of it). Like all Kdrama male leads, I can be quite theatrical and dramatic for no apparent reason just for kicks.
