Recently I had to suffer reading about this “controversial” episode taking place is Ivy league Yale of all places. Which goes to show that even the so called elitist echelons of higher learning can get pretty ghettolicious in their own unique, special fashion.
There’s a high probability some silly, inane, petty, and insignificant controversy may arise at any given moment, on any given sunday if the variables come into play. What’s required ? Two females attending a school where rich, smart kids go and invent a fight over something so stupid to prove some sort of cultural war point. Like years of racial tension will be solved in a single instance. Yet these episodes are strangely starting to surface and come to light much like the whole celebrity sex scandals have. I think this is the phenom that’s starting to entertain the masses of bored sheep who want to chime in and turn it into an epic meme war.
Firstly, yeah, the white girl (Sarah Braasch) who decided to use the police to come at her beck and call in order to purposely get a girl in trouble needs to spend some time in jail herself, and should have had the police any real EQ. Unless these cops are just that stupid that they need to harangue any student, regardless of race then they need to sharpen their street smarts. What if the white girl wasn’t a student in this scenario ? That would actually be quite hilarious.
Obviously, there exists white girls who aren’t culturally “comfortable” with POC. I personally think they should be rounded up and forced to watch hours of commercial free Different Strokes, Training Day, Black Panther, Good Times, Jeffersons, and maybe even 50 shades of Black. Or this fun Ted Talk by señor Michael Scott. Please enjoy.
Really, I kind of have to laugh at this very non news news making news, are we so bored that we have to inventsomething out of nothing that matters one damned bit to anybody on this planet ? Seriously!? WHO CARES ABOUT THIS STUPID local happenstance. It’s irrelevant, immaterial, immature, and idiotic. Pretending it’s something something when it’s nothing nothing is journalistic heresy. The Starbucks fella’s yeah, that was a big deal. This ? This is wannabe big deal, folks. Time to move along and yawn a little and chill the heck out. I know everybody wants to desperately have their lives go viral so badly they’ll do anything to be in the limelight if only for a few precious moments.
Let’s just say it like it is, if Al Sharpton isn’t screaming racism and stepping in for Jesse Jackson and getting people riled up, annoyed, and eye rolling clearly this is a sign that it’s not worth my time, nor yours.
